2024 Penn State Football Bus Trips

The Penn State Alumni Association – Lancaster Chapter typically hosts one or two bus trips to Beaver Stadium each year.  The board is reviewing our game options and a decision will be made in the very near future.  Pricing information will be available at that time.

2024 Scholarship Raffle Tickets

The Penn State Alumni Association Lancaster Chapter raises funds for its scholarship program through donations and various activities conducted throughout the year. One major revenue source for our Scholarship Fund is our raffle ticket sale.
The 2024 Raffle Fundraiser is currently in the planning stages

Penn State night at the Stormers

The annual “Penn State Night” at Clipper Stadium is Saturday, July 20, as the Lancaster Stormers welcome the Staten Island Ferry Hawks.  Game time is 6:45 p.m.  The National Anthem and First Pitch are at 6:15.  Our very own Angel Shonk will sing the Anthem and a few of our scholarship winners typically toss the first pitch.  Discount ticket info is not available at this time, but we’ll make that update as we learn more.  The night concludes with fireworks! All Penn Staters are encouraged to wear white for a Clipper Stadium “white-out.”

Freshman send off

In honor of first– and second-year students from Lancaster County attending a Pennsylvania State University Campus this fall, the Lancaster Chapter is hosting its annual Freshman Send Off!

The event is free, but we ask that you register in advance.

About Membership

In July 2022, your Penn State Alumni Association (PSAA) membership expanded to include access to the Penn State Alumni Association Lancaster Chapter (Lancaster Chapter). In addition to receiving information regarding Penn State events from the PSAA, you will also receive information regarding local events coordinated by the Lancaster Chapter.

This change eliminates separate dues for local chapter membership, making it easier for Penn Staters to stay connected.

The Lancaster Chapter proudly represents Penn State through local scholarships, social events, community service projects, networking events, trips, and activities. To learn more about PSAA and their membership opportunities, click here.
